VW Kombi Bus

ProMax

The Volkswagen Type 2 "Kombi" is the rolling icon of postwar optimism — a rounded twin-cab van born from Ben Pon's 1947 napkin sketch and built into the most beloved microbus on earth. This system distills its two-tone bodywork: a band of turquoise steel under a belt-line of cumulus white, the V-split front, round headlamp circles and soft pressed-steel curves. By 1967 the Kombi had crossed the ocean and become the vehicle of the road-trip generation — flower-power paint over factory paint. The palette here keeps the structure clean and turquoise, letting gold, brick-red and earth-brown play only as accents, the way a hand-painted daisy reads against a freshly waxed panel.
