Dhahran Aramco Camp Modernism

The Dhahran Aramco residential camp is American oil-company suburbia rebuilt in the eastern Saudi desert: sand-ochre stucco bungalows with terracotta roof tile and turquoise-trimmed windows, baking under a hard noon sun. Its visual language is plain and functional — Bell-System-style signage sans, hand-stencilled derrick logos, and a rectilinear company-town grid.

This system distills that vernacular into a warm, matte, sun-bleached interface: ochre stucco grounds, terracotta accents, and turquoise used sparingly as trim. Nothing is glossy; every surface looks baked by the desert.

达兰阿美石油居住营地，是把 1940 年代美国石油公司式的郊区，整体搬到了沙特阿拉伯东部的沙漠之中：砂赭色灰泥平房、赤陶屋瓦、绿松石色门窗边框，在正午烈日下被烤得发白。它的视觉语言朴素而功能化——贝尔系统式的功能性无衬线招牌字、手工镂版印刷的钻井架标志，以及笔直的公司城镇网格。

本设计系统将这套营地语汇提炼为温暖、哑光、被阳光漂洗过的界面：以赭石灰泥为底色，赤陶色作主色，绿松石仅作点缀边框使用。没有任何光泽——每一个表面都像被沙漠烤过一般。
