Sinofuturism is the visual language of Lawrence Lek's 2016 video essay: a Chinese future built from Shenzhen neon, AI, copying, and jade-tinted screen glow. It reads from a dark night street — bright vertical shopfront signage burning over a jade-tinted near-black, dense urban layering of LED grids and data overlays.
The system fuses two registers: a simplified-Chinese signage layer of neon red and imperial gold, and an AI/computing layer of monospace data and jade-cyan bloom. It is not lantern chinoiserie — it is saturated neon urbanism, screens stacked on screens, the copy as creative engine.
「中华未来主义」是 Lawrence Lek 2016 年影像论文里勾勒的视觉语言：用深圳霓虹、 人工智能、山寨复制美学与玉色屏光，拼贴出一个属于中国的未来。画面从一条夜里的 街道读起——竖排的店招霓虹在玉色近黑的底色上灼灼发光，LED 网格、数据叠层与城市 密度层层堆叠。
整套系统糅合两种语汇：一层是简体中文招牌——霓虹红与帝王金；另一层是 AI 计算 层——等宽数据字与玉青色光晕。它刻意避开红灯笼式的旅游中国风，而是把饱和霓虹的 都市感推到前台：屏幕叠着屏幕，复制本身就是创造的引擎。
